Every Illinois Tech graduate is asked to complete the First Destination Survey. It takes a few minutes and it tells us how our graduates are actually faring in the job market, which is what lets us keep improving the support we offer you and the students behind you. It is also the source behind the outcomes data prospective students and employers rely on, so your answer genuinely counts.

Virtual Internships — Placement Supported
Apply for a part-time virtual internship and get matched with a company somewhere in the world, aligned to your interests, with placement support throughout. There is a $200 program participation fee, charged only if you are selected. Cohorts start several times a year, so check the current start date and application deadline before you apply, and use your Hawk email through the Illinois Tech cohort link.

AWS Cloud Certifications — Free for Recent Graduates
Strengthen your position with free AWS cloud certification training, still open to you as a recent graduate. Cloud skills read as current to a hiring manager in almost any field, and the credential is independent verification rather than a self-assessment. You must retain your Illinois Tech email to access the training, and the sign-up form refreshes each semester, so start now rather than later.
