Interprofessional Projects (IPROs) at Illinois Tech provide real-world project experience for students. All undergraduate students must complete two IPRO courses, in which multi-disciplinary student teams are tasked with finding solutions to problems impacting business, industry, or the world at large. On average, there are 100 IPRO project teams each semester; project scope is varied and students are able to choose a project relevant to their major.
Every semester Illinois Tech students achieve impressive results through IPROs, identifying innovative ways to utilize technology, exploring and developing entrepreneurial ideas, and addressing issues affecting people in myriad ways. The student teams are mentored, supported, and coached throughout the semester by IPRO Faculty that come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
