Programs, Scholarships, and Awards Intern
REPORTS TO: Director, Programs, Scholarships, Grants & Awards
LOCATION: AOF Office, Downtown Chicago, IL
Description
The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) is seeking an intern for the summer months of 2025. The intern will work closely with the Director of Programs, Scholarships, Grants & Awards, and will support the department in various tasks related to the Foundation’s grants and awards programs.
Rate: $19 per hour
Hours: Up to 24-25 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Reformat all grants and awards data (from Word to Excel)
- Reconcile grants and awards over the past 75 years
- Capture data from the past three award cycles
- Research past award winners
- Update awardee profiles
- Assist with donor stewardship
- Help gather and analyze statistical data points
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with large data sets in Excel (preferred)
- Experience creating visuals and presentations/reports using data (preferred)
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently on projects

Standard office environment.
