In the role of Traffic EIT/Designer, we’ll count on you to:
- Work as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of traffic analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects
- Conduct operational traffic analysis using a variety of modeling tools, ranging from Synchro/Highway Capacity Software to complex microsimulation models in TransModeler/Vissim, analyzing everything from isolated intersections and roundabouts to urban arterials and freeway corridors
- Focus on traffic design, crash analysis and mitigation strategies, and traffic signal timing plans
- Conduct traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, autoCad and Guide Sign software
- Conduct operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools specific to support job duties, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM and Aimsun
- Conduct safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools including Highway Safety Software
- Perform other duties as needed
