Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator. This position requires 0-3 years of experience, with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains confidentiality of all employees and HR files, including, but not limited to, FMLA, and worker’s compensation
- Assist with the Talent Acquisition process, including job postings, new hire paperwork, and candidate screening
- Enter new hire and employee record changes in HRIS
- Employment verification
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to attract potential candidates
- Performs clerical tasks such as maintaining employee’s personnel records
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions
- Assists throughout the benefits renewal and open enrollment process
- Handles all processing of employee terminations
- Assists with planning and execution of special events
- Assists the HR department with other HR-related projects
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must complete a background check.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
