Summary: This paid internship will provide an opportunity for students and recent graduates who are interested in healthcare administration, medical billing, and revenue analysis. This position will gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of revenue cycle management tasks that drive revenue in a healthcare organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Assisting with claims preparation and submission to payers in accordance with payer-specific guidelines.
- Supporting the billing and collections process, including identifying and researching denied or underpaid claims.
- Performing data entry and account reconciliation in our revenue cycle systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Helping to review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and identify denial reasons for resolution.
- Collaborating with team members to track claim statuses and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Participating in projects related to process improvement, compliance, and audit preparation.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA regulations and revenue cycle best practices.
- Assisting with the generation of reports for internal use to monitor key RCM performance indicators.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Education Current student or recent graduate interested in Healthcare administration, Health Information Management, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience and/or Training Prior experience or coursework in medical billing, coding, or healthcare systems is a plus, but not required.
