Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in marketing strategies, content creation, and campaign execution — including video content creation and editing for both external marketing and internal communication initiatives.
This position requires in-person office attendance and is based in our Carmel, Indiana headquarters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of internal and external marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research to understand trends in the financial advisor sector
- Help design brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials
- Assist in organizing webinars and educational events
- Assist in the creation of materials that help tell the Valeo Story
- Plan, film, edit, and produce video content to support marketing, training, and internal communications
- Collaborate with team members to storyboard, script, and edit videos for a variety of audiences and platforms
- Create digital assets to elevate social media messaging
- Manage digital community among other Valeo Interns
- Track and communicate digital impact
- Creatively prepare promotional materials and presentations
- Identify and complete a summer capstone project
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Interest in financial services and understanding basic financial concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with social media management and digital marketing tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Experience with video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia video tools)
- Ability to create and edit video content suitable for marketing, training, and internal communications
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Possess and demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
