To create an environment where students can collaboratively design and build FPV quadcopter drones from scratch, providing hands-on learning experiences in engineering, project management, and innovation. The club aims to educate students in technical fields like electrical, mechanical, and aeronautical engineering, while also offering opportunities to practice management skills through organizing events and projects related to drone development and air-sports.
The organization intends to provide three benefits to the student population. Firstly, our goal is to provide a space for interested ECE, CS, and MMAE students to learn the development process and the work environment involved in an engineering setting. For those students who do not want to be involved in the development teams, the management team will provide a learning experience towards project management, events planning, financing, and other management and front-end related work. Finally, the student body who are not part of the team would have the opportunity to participate in events that include seminars from airsports veterans as well as opportunities to learn what a drone is through presentations held by the club and friendly building competitions/workshops.
To become a leading student organization at IIT dedicated to advancing drone technologies and promoting air-sports, while fostering innovation, technical expertise, and leadership skills across various engineering disciplines. The long-term vision includes competing in drone sports, hosting campus events, and being a hub for students passionate about drone development and aviation.
