My name is Bruce deGrazia and I am the Program Chair for the Cybersecurity Management and Policy Program in the Graduate School at UMUC. What we try to do in the Management and Policy Program is to take students who are interested in going into the management side of cybersecurity. There are plenty of opportunities for people to do the technical stuff, but at some point in your career you're gonna wanna move up from that. You're not gonna wanna spend your entire career pulling cables. And so those people that wanna make that transition, that's our target audience. I spend a lot of time dealing with student issues. Of course I have to make certain that since UMUC has a policy of students first then that's the first thing that I address every morning. What students have questions about the courses? What students have questions about the professors? I do a lot of work on scheduling. We have a number of courses in hybrid-type courses that we teach face-to-face as well as online. I have to make sure that those courses, when they're filled we have a place for the students to go and times for them to teach and find professors. There are about 40 or so, maybe more, professors in the program. And I try to make sure that every professor who wants to teach gets an opportunity to teach at least a couple of times a year. So those are the types of issues I handle on a daily basis. And I do the usual committees that every university person does. I have particular interest in the Policy Committee. I'm on the Academic Advisory Board. And I am also on the Faculty Success Committee.
