Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) is a nonprofit organization established to build a better world through fostering partnerships with communities around the world. EWB-USA provides sustainable infrastructure and community-driven solutions to meet the basic need of millions of people every year.
At EWB Illinois Tech, we are a highly motivated, diverse, and socially-responsible group of engineers and problem solvers. We feel a strong sense of responsibility to use our skills in order to make positive change in the world. Our members take charge of projects from the initial application to project monitoring and closeout – everything we do is student led and student run. Volunteers with EWB Illinois Tech are the next generation of leaders and doers.
EWB Illinois Tech engages in and completes international and domestic engineering projects, undertakes fundraising activities to contribute to these projects, and enhances the college education of its members, promotes community involvement and volunteering, and provides pathways for professional development.
