This position will be based in our Chicago, IL office.
The role: The Business Development Associate (BDA) serves as a crucial partner to each Sales Director, and is responsible for developing relationships and scheduling meetings with prospective customers to engage them with VMock’s innovative career development tools. Utilizing a personalized Customer Relationship Management platform, BDA’s will manage a geographic territory, conduct research on potential target customers, and launch outreach campaigns in order to cultivate a new partnership pipeline for the firm.
The work:
- Research and collect business intelligence on companies, colleges and universities, leads, and qualified potential customers.
- Effectively initiate contact and develop relationships with prospective clients through lead-generation campaigns, highlighting the value of VMock’s revolutionary platform to create initial interest.
- Travel to conferences and events to represent the brand and engage with prospects
- Present key features and benefits to prospective clients while learning their needs and expectations.
- Schedule meetings for Sales Directors with key decision makers at prospective clients and influencers to win new accounts.
The requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (all majors welcome)
