Job Description:
Are you eager to jumpstart your career in the Aggregate and Asphalt industry? We’re looking for a proactive and motivated intern to join our team and learn the day-to-day operations of our Aggregate and Asphalt Department. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from seasoned professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in learning the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the Aggregate or Asphalt Department.
- Be exposed to the Aggregate Department reports and regulatory responsibilities.
- Observe and study techniques and traits of experienced employees in the Aggregate Department in order to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for completing departmental duties and the performance of the department.
- May be assigned projects and/or tasks by all the Aggregate team.
- Works in the Quality Control Department to understand the importance of the relationship between quality production and a quality aggregate/asphalt product.
- Work individually or in concert with other Intern participants on an assigned project to be presented at the end of the Internship.
- Wears a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, gloves, hearing protection, and respirator as needed.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
- Student at a college, university, or technical school.
