How This Works

These are not Illinois Tech courses and they carry no academic credit. They are free training programs and credentials published by the companies themselves, collected here so you do not have to hunt for them. Nothing below requires enrollment or an application, and most first modules take under an hour.

If you want a credential that carries academic credit instead, those are the Career Pathway Courses, and they are taken through the registrar.

Make It Count

A certificate on its own does less than you would hope. What moves an employer is the certificate plus something you built with it. Finish the training, then use it on a project, a job simulation, or a class assignment, and put both on your resume. A career coach can help you word it so the skill reads as demonstrated rather than claimed.
