To prepare Asian heritage scientists, engineers and technologists for success in the global business world, celebrate diversity on campuses and in the workplace, and to provide opportunities for members to make contributions to their local communities. SASE membership is open to men and women of all ethnic backgrounds.
The organization provides essential professional development, including workshops, mentorship programs, and leadership opportunities, helping students hone skills and gain industry insights. Scholarships and grants offered by many SASE chapters assist students with educational expenses, while access to job fairs and career opportunities in STEM enhances their career prospects. Additionally, SASE promotes diversity and inclusion, fostering a sense of belonging and community support, and students can engage in community outreach, personal growth, and personal and professional development, ultimately preparing them for successful STEM careers.
The goal of SASE is to empower APIDA, Asian Pacific Islander Desi American, students to take on leadership roles in their schools and communities. This nationally recognized organization helps college students get a jump on needed experience and information to thrive in the industry. SASE members are set up for success by connecting them to top employers in engineering, technology, and science who are actively looking to help the next generation of scientists and engineers. The individual connections between student, peers, and professional mentors, transcend into lifelong friendships through SASE.
