SOAR: New Student Orientation

SOAR is a two-day event focused on providing incoming undergraduate students with an opportunity to meet classmates on campus and become familiar with

  • Academic requirements and expectations
  • Resources that will assist you in succeeding academically and socially at Illinois Tech
  • How to navigate the technology services that you will use throughout your experience at Illinois Tech
  • Meet with faculty, staff, and student leaders on campus

All incoming students are required to complete their designated SOAR sessions.
